It seemed like one of those matches that would be found on a WWE Unreleased DVD - "Did Undertaker actually wrestle Rey Mysterio?" It's such a random-yet-epic combination for a singles match that it almost seems too surreal to have happened. Yet it did, at the 2010 Royal Rumble, for Undertaker's World Heavyweight title. And it was a really good match, to boot.

Making the match quality more impressive is that 'Taker had just come off of a surgical procedure. According to The Wrestling Observer, Undertaker had just had arthroscopic knee surgery less than two weeks before the pay-per-view.

As a result, Undertaker was somewhat limited in movement and activity, but he still held up his end of an enjoyable match. He didn't even miss that much time, still appearing (in limited capacity) in six and eight-man tags in the run-up to the Rumble.
