Needing all hands on deck for a match boasting 40 participants, it's interesting to see who was available that didn't get to take part. According to The Wrestling Observer, two such would-be participants included eventual Prime Time Player Darren Young, and former Hart Dynasty member David Hart Smith.

The Observer claims that both men were informed earlier in the week that they were being taken out of the Rumble match, likely to make room for some surprise entrants that this list will soon acknowledge.

Smith's best WWE days had passed, which is unusual because the Dynasty was seeing great heights throughout 2010. He would be released later that summer. Young, meanwhile, would find stronger footing in 2012 when he and Titus O'Neil surfaced as a duo that spring.
