To date, there have been four women who have competed in the men's Royal Rumble match - Chyna, Beth Phoenix, Kharma and Nia Jax - and the 2020 Royal Rumble saw the first time that this was reversed.

Entering the '20 women's bout at #29, Santino Marella became the first man to appear in the women's Rumble contest. In his 'Santina' persona, the Milan Miracle lasted barely a minute in the match, eliminating himself after being confronted by Natalya and Beth Phoenix.

For those wondering if that was to be the final surprise of last year's women's Rumble, thankfully out at #30 came NXT's Shayna Baszler - who swiftly went on a tear that saw her eliminate eight people, and got to the final two of the bout before being eliminated by winner Charlotte Flair.

When looking at other male performers who could be utilised in a any future women's Rumbles, the one name that seems to stand out from the pack is R-Truth and his crazed antics. Or who knows, maybe Santina is one of the shock names who we'll see again in the future.
