Ahh, Prime Time Wrestling. Between this show and the theme song from the previous entry, my inner child's getting all misty. Anywho, you know Prime Time Wrestling as the predecessor to Monday Night Raw, and you know it was feckin' awesome, with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan demonstrating their Abbott-and-Costello-esque brilliance in between matches and angle advancement. Rarely, though, were the matches on Prime Time of true main event quality.

It was curious, then, in the weeks following SummerSlam 1988 that five of the ten matches were shown for free on Prime Time, including Big Boss Man vs. Koko B Ware and Rick Rude vs. Junkyard Dog. Since Prime Time episodes were mostly cobbled together with matches culled from different events, maybe it's not too surprising to see some SummerSlam matches pop up on free TV. Chalk this one up to, "things used to be different."
