Amongst wrestling writer David Bixenspan's research into the various Ultimate Warrior legal encounters with WWE over the years, he made quite a find. The document provides a rare, unfettered look at the financial dealings of WWE, listing what each wrestler made for their work at a major pay-per-view. Hogan and Warrior made out with $75,000 apiece. Sgt. Slaughter, as the captain of the opposing side in the main event, made $50,000.
Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth were paid $75,000 and $50,000, respectively for functionally renewing their real-life wedding vows. Wrestlers in the upper midcard, such as Bret Hart, Big Bossman, Mr. Perfect, and others, generally made between $15,000 and $20,000 apiece.
