It would be Eddie Guerrero's penultimate pay-per-view match: a ladder match against Rey Mysterio for the custody of Dominic, who was apparently Eddie's out-of-wedlock child. Two highly-gifted performers in Guerrero and Mysterio did all they could with the farcical angle (and Dominic at least displayed better acting chops than Alicia Fox). The match and the feud at-large weren't without their share of issues, including an infamous timing snafu during the ladder match.

Eddie's wife Vickie, whose role was to convey disgust toward Eddie's unbecoming attitude, was supposed to push the ladder over at one point when Guerrero had victory in hand. However, Vickie was not sent to the ring when she was supposed to be, leading to an awkward moment where Guerrero was hanging from the briefcase, and Mysterio improvised by pulling his leg until Eddie fell to the mat in cringeworthy fashion, almost blowing out his knee.

Guerrero then exploded into a heated tantrum, slamming the mat and very audibly screaming, "WHERE THE F--K WAS VICKIE?!" She was finally cued for a forthcoming spot, where she did tip the ladder over with her husband on it, but not before that clusterfrig of a sequence.
