The Great Khali lumbered onto the WWE scene in April 2006, feuding immediately with The Undertaker. The two met at Judgment Day with Khali winning handily, setting up a rematch at Great American Bash inside the brand-new Punjabi Prison. That match would be cancelled when Khali was found to have "elevated liver enzymes", postponing the blow-off until SummerSlam.

And SummerSlam didn't even get the match. WWE officials were skittish about putting Khali in television matches due to his poor performances and apparent knee injuries (word at the time was that Khali needed double-knee surgery).

Rather than risk a nearly-immobile Khali stinking up a pay-per-view, his blowoff match with Undertaker was tucked away on the go-home SmackDown in a last man standing match. Undertaker won the bloody affair, and Khali disappeared for two months before ending up on the ECW brand.
