When Triple H did the ambiguous "goodbye" eight nights after SummerSlam, a blind person could've seen the obvious comeback off in the distance. Somewhere down the line, the one-armed COO would be back to exact revenge on the man who made him submit at SummerSlam.

Around August 2012, plans were in place for Lesnar to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, one year prior to "The Day the Streak Died", and it was speculated that Triple H's revenge match would have to take place either at Survivor Series or The Royal Rumble.

Somewhere along the way, plans changed, and Triple H was slotted into the 'Mania match, with Undertaker getting CM Punk instead. A shame, because if it had played out the way it was originally intended, it'd have been kinda funny to see Lesnar punt Paul Bearer's urn like a football.
