9. New Day's Song Parody Was Edited Off Repeat Showings

They were booed into oblivion as smiling do-gooders. Then The New Day began ratcheting up the insincere smarm and lively antics, effortlessly feeding off of each other, and it became rather hard to boo them. The trio found their calling in the role as heels, albeit "cool heels". By SummerSlam 2015, it was clear that they were a transcendent act, and their pre-match performance had the crowd eating out of their hands.

Together, New Day parodied Jay Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind", substituting "New YORK New YORK" with "New DAY New DAY", and received quite a rousing ovation for it. Shame you can't find it on WWE's official releases.

Though parody is usually free from copyright law, WWE may have felt there was an issue with how much of the song was appropriated by New Day for their send-up, and chose to edit it out to prevent any issues. A damned shame.
