Unless The Rock turned on John Cena in the main event at Survivor Series, The Miz and R-Truth had less of a chance of winning than Zack Ryder does any Royal Rumble match. The two were just bodies for Rock and Cena (especially the former) to look good hitting signature spots on.

Hopefully, Truth got a nice payoff for headlining the show, since he was sent home for 30 days after the following evening's Raw. Truth was reportedly popped for a marijuana substitute, shortly after Evan Bourne was suspended for the same reasons.

Initially, it seemed as though WWE was going to suspend Bourne only, while simply fining Survivor Series main-eventer R-Truth. It wouldn't have been the first double-standard that WWE has exercised, and apparently there were those in the locker room upset about the two contrasting punishments. However, once Survivor Series was over, WWE opted to send Truth home for the requisite suspension period.
