5. Eva Marie's Post-Match Behavior Was Encouraged By WWE
Eva Marie didn't last long in the seven-on-seven Divas match, being pinned by Kaitlyn shortly after tagging in. She was booed out of the building, despite being on the "babyface" side, and that wasn't even the most notable part of her evening.
In a bit not caught on camera, Eva Marie was apparently smiling as she headed up the aisle following her elimination, and even tagging hands with fans. Unusual behavior for someone who, if you're into the story, just got eliminated from a match between warring groups, where tension is running high.
It was reported that Eva Marie, as well as other newer WWE wrestlers, were taught to do this. Apparently, WWE was on a kick where they wanted babyfaces to not sell defeat for whatever reason. Perhaps they were worried that young fans would be upset that their favorite wrestlers were sad about losing, which I think we can all agree is a pretty dumb rationale.
