It should be noted that there doesn't seem to be a concrete number of buys available for WrestleMania 32 for whatever reason, but we can at least say that WrestleMania 13 is the least-bought 'Mania of the pre-WWE Network era (though 'Manias 30 and 31 still top it).

In all, 237,000 households bought the event, down a whopping 18.3 percent from the year before. Fortunes would drastically change a year later when WrestleMania 14 pulled in 730,000 buys (a 208 percent increase), but that was still a ways away. In 1997, WWE was still working to re-invent their brand, trying to wash off the boring kiddie flavor that felt so uncool next to the nWo's renegade antics on WCW Monday Nitro.

The pieces were coming together, but the audience wasn't going all in quite yet.
