If you pretend that his "brawl" with Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 26 never happened (which is highly advisable), "The Hitman" ended his WrestleMania run in historic fashion with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Lauded as one of the greatest and most important matches in WWE history, the bloodbath was Hart's twelfth WrestleMania in a row with at least one match, shattering Hulk Hogan's previous mark of nine.

It wouldn't be until 2013 when Hart's record would finally fall. The Undertaker would perform in his thirteenth consecutive 'Mania that night, and has since extended his mark to 16 straight WrestleManias performed at. Triple H had a chance in 2007 to tie Hart, but a torn quadriceps that January prevented it from happening.
