To watch the Goldberg/Lesnar match from WrestleMania 20 is to appreciate their Survivor Series blink-and-you'll-miss-it main event more. Neither man wanted to be there in the slightest (as Lesnar attests), and the fans knew that both men were out the door as soon as they trudged up the ramp. The New York crowd lambasted both men with disgusted chants, from "BORING" during the disinterested stalling, to "YOU SOLD OUT", which is ironic, given that Lesnar was walking away from a huge contract extension that he'd signed in the summer of 2003.

One of the people chanting "YOU SOLD OUT" at the perceived deserters was Shane O'Mac himself. "The Boy Wonder" had been known to sit in the crowd, away from camera range, at a variety of WWE pay-per-views back in the day. Sure enough, keen-eyed fans spotted Shane screaming at his father's soon to be ex-employees, one caustic voice among the Garden horde.
