Throughout his fifties and even early-sixties, McMahon could be counted on to deliver an unhinged, blood-soaked, wildly-entertaining performance when necessary. Simply put, nobody sells fear or a one-sided beatdown quite like animated Vince. At age 64, McMahon tangled with "The Hitman" in a disappointing skirmish - understandable, given that Hart had suffered a stroke eight years earlier. To McMahon, he saw the match as his character's "white light".

McMahon had reportedly claimed to others within the company that the match with Hart was the end of the "Mr. McMahon" character. It made sense: the Montreal Screwjob birthed it, and it made sense for Hart to be the one to vanquish it.

Evil Vince has popped up a few times since, most notably tied in with The Authority, but he remains a secondary character for the most part these days. His only "match" since the loss to Hart was a bizarre brawl with CM Punk on Raw in October 2012, which was as a babyface.
