3. John Cena Prevented Brodus Clay's Segment From Being Cut
On the one hand, it's a selfless act on Cena's part, and would make even his most ardent haters say, "Aww." On the other, given what the segment was, it might just inflame hatred toward "Big Match John" even further. Brodus Clay's inane "Momma Dance" bit had most onlookers asking why, exactly, Daniel Bryan had to lose in 18 seconds.
According to "The Funkasaurus", the segment was in great danger of being cut for time reasons, and was on the chopping block just prior to coming up on the format. Cena (whose main event with Rock would follow the bit) intervened, and announced, "I'm going to the bathroom. Brodus, what do you think, like eight minutes?"
Clay understood what Cena was slyly doing, and offered an affirmative. John moseyed over to the john in order for Brodus Clay to have a WrestleMania moment. As lame as the dance routine was, that's still pretty damn cool on Cena's part.
