What is WrestleMania 34 best remembered for? Truth be told, the 34th instalment of the Showcase of the Immortals probably sticks in the memory mostly because of the rancid reception given to the main event, where nearly 79,000 fans cheered the antics of a beach ball over a physical battle between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Did you know that that match featured more F-5s than any other WrestleMania match in history? Now you do.

The preposterous number of fireman's carry facebusters it took to keep The Big Dog down (six, for the record) has no place in such articles, however, as this one is more interested in the pre-show exploits of matadors, the stylings of whiskey aficionados and the missed opportunity that was Braun Strowman & X vs. The Bar. WrestleMania 34 was a half-decent show full of fascinating happenings, that best sums it up.

We all know that Ronda Rousey made her WWE in-ring debut at the show, but what was interesting about her team with Kurt Angle? What was curious about their opponents? Nothing, obviously, there isn't anything curious about Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at this point, but where there is smoke, there is usually a McMahon. More on that later.

In the annals of WrestleMania, WrestleMania 34 probably ranks somewhere in the middle as an okay show with some fun bits and pieces on it. What does that mean for the trivia nerds? Dive in, young one, dive in.

10. Primo Colón: King Of The Pre-show

Without making this about me, I will never forget my anger as it slowly dawned on me that The Colóns vs. Miz & Morrison wasn't actually going to be televised at WrestleMania XXV. Yes, alcohol was involved, but that doesn't change anything. The 25th Anniversary show had a women's battle royal won by a man, after all. Putting the tag title unification match on the main show should have been a given.

Still, it kicked off a run of nine matches that put Primo Colón into the record books, or at least into this particular selection of niche accomplishments. WrestleMania XXV was Primo's first pre-show match, but his appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 34 made it a whopping nine pre-show matches for the former Matador, without a single main show match to his name.

Five battle royals, three multi-team tag matches and the aforementioned unification match make up Primo's WrestleMania resume, with a surprisingly decent record of two wins and two losses in those tag matches. The winners of the battle royals certainly make for interesting reading; Matt Hardy (the winner at WrestleMania 34), Mojo Rawley, Big Show, The Great Khali and Yoshi Tatsu. Remeber the name.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
