2. Sid Justice Kicked Out Of Hogan's Leg Drop Because Papa Shango Was Late

Hogan's farewell match (for now) wasn't intended to end with a clean finish. Hogan would drop the leg on Sid, and a new-to-the-fold Papa Shango would hit the ring to break up the pin. If nothing else, it would have protected the leg drop, should Hogan return down the line.

It's not clear who was at fault for the miscue, but the interfering Shango ended up running late, thus Sid had to kick out of the move on his own. Improvising, Sid's manager Harvey Wippleman ran in for the hasty DQ finish, and Shango finally made it down the aisle to take his part in the post-match assault.

All of that was forgotten in the wake of Ultimate Warrior's shocking return, naturally.
