10 Fascinating WWE WrestleMania Facts You Didn't Know

7. Five Men Have Won Both A WrestleMania Opener, And A WrestleMania Main Event

Shawn Michaels was the first to earn this honor, winning the openers of WrestleManias 7 and 8 before triumphing over Bret Hart at 12. John Cena was next, toppling Big Show for the United States title at 20, then going on to win the main events of 22, 23, and 29, all for the WWE Championship. The Miz pulled it off in consecutive years, winning the Tag Team title opener of 26, then shockingly going over on Cena to end 27. Daniel Bryan famously did it in the same night at 30, then won the ladder opener of 31. Speaking of 31, Seth Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank successfully to end that show, two years after he and his Shield-mates opened 29 with a six-man tag team win.
