10 Fastest Pushes In WWE History

7. Ric Flair (113 Days)

Okay, so when Ric Flair signed for the WWE in August 1991, he was doing so as one of the biggest names in the entire wrestling business. So it’s to be expected that he was deservedly pushed as one of the very top stars, winning the gold in less than four months with the company.

Technically, though, Flair had already debuted with the WWE once before—15 years prior he’d appeared for the company at Madison Square Garden in a couple of throwaway matches, just months after returning from his devastating plane crash. But it’s safe to say that the Ric Flair of 1976 was very different to the Ric Flair of 1991.

'90s Flair re-debuted at a WWF Superstars taping on 9 September 1991, which aired a few weeks down the line on 28 September. A run of wins on television ensued, before he entered a house show program with Hulk Hogan—who at the time was the WWE champion.

Clearly a title reign was on the horizon, and that proved to be the case on 19 January 1992 when Flair won the Royal Rumble and with it the vacant title, 113 days after his TV debut.

Another super-quick push, but by no means a surprising one given who it involved.
