WWE: 8 Booking Ideas For Rob Van Dam's Return

7. A Tag Team With Dolph Ziggler

If there's one thing that Van Dam does well, it's ad-hoc tag teams, partnering up with Kane, Booker T and Rey Mysterio in the past. With the recent dissolution of the Prime Time Players and the breakup of the Real Americans on the horizon, the tag team division could soon find itself bereft of competition. And if there's anyone on the roster who needs a bit of creative direction, it's Ziggler. The man has floated around from random match to random match for almost a year, seemingly on autopilot. He needs a break from singles competition, and Van Dam could be the ideal partner for him. In terms of ring style, I can see the two meshing together well in terms of fast paced, high impact performance. As well as this, one of the Kane and Van Dam partnership's biggest strengths was entertaining backstage segments, so if they do something similar here, that can only benefit Ziggler. And when the time comes for them to eventually break up, Ziggler just turns heel and he has a ready made feud with a great opponent. The only question that remains is what to call them.... The Whole Dam Showoff? I'll work on it....
