10 Feuds We Want To See Following WWE Backlash 2018

It's time for WWE to pull the trigger on the feuds that will carry us through summertime.

WWE are about to shake off the initial confusion and chaos that the annual Superstar Shake-Up brings. Once Backlash is done, all the rosters and titles will be set in stone, and we can focus our attention on what feuds and storylines lie ahead.

When you look at the personnel on both RAW and SmackDown, you're hit with the realization of just how large and deep WWE's talent pool is. With all PPVs now including talent from both shows for the foreseeable future, it becomes apparent that many superstars are going to be vying for spots month-to-month (unless WWE decide to screw with us by making every PPV as long as bloody WrestleMania).

Assuming they're wise enough not to do that, here's hoping WWE also have the wisdom to dedicate PPV spots to the feuds that utilize the best combination of talented, exciting, and new superstars. Because let me tell you, a PPV series between, say, Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode would just make everyone sad and/or angry.

With that in mind, here's a short list of suggestions to WWE as to which feuds fans would get the biggest kick out of this summer.

10. Braun Strowman Vs. Bobby Lashley

Hey guys, Bobby Lashley is back in the WWE! ...okay, and?

Let's be honest: Lashley's return these last few weeks has been fairly underwhelming. That's not a knock on Bobby Lashley the performer, as at the age of 41, he's probably the best he's ever been. He's maintained his excellent physique, while being way more competent in the ring, making all of his power-based offense look excellent.

At the same time, however, he hasn't cut a promo on RAW, and his only role right now seems to be "big guy to make the hot tag to," but the problem is, in the tag matches he's participated in, the tags aren't really that hot - not compared to Braun Strowman's.

Strowman, meanwhile, is the man. It's clear that the Roman Reigns experiment is being phased out, and he's destined for the Universal Championship whenever Brock Lesnar next turns up. In the meantime, however, they should build up Braun by having him feud with fellow big b*stard Bobby. While probably not yielding any in-ring classics, it would be the kind of clash between two larger-than-life, competent big men that excites the inner child in all of us.
