This was one of the more surprising rumoured matches for WrestleMania, given the immense stature of Lesnar, and the fact that Owens hasn't quite broken into the main event scene. In fact, WWE seem to have been more keen on emphasising the cerebral aspect of his heel persona, as opposed to the brutal streak he unleashed on the independent scene. A 2016 feud with Lesnar would be the perfect angle to gradually expand Owens' arsenal, forcing him to delve deeper into his past and come out with some of the sickening moves he became notorious for in the indies. If anyone can take a stiff beating, only to give an even worse one back, it's the Beast. There's also the small point that it's would be a feud between Kevin Owens and Brock Lesnar. If the idea of that doesn't get you excited, there's something quite wrong.
