10 FIERCEST Online Wrestling Rivalries

5. Dave Meltzer Vs. Vince Russo

The Uncles

More of the same.

Dave Meltzer uses objective data to bury Vince Russo's run as WCW booker (Nitro lost a sixth of the previous week's audience following David Arquette's WCW Title win on Thunder, for example); Russo in response has referred to Meltzer (and pal Bryan Alvarez) as "clueless hacks". Meltzer and Russo are destined to fight: one is a journalist, the other a proven liar who trades in disgrace and controversy.

And they will fight forever.

Perhaps even the shameless Russo is embarrassed at his complete lack of prescience and inability to judge talent; he once told Meltzer that Buff Bagwell had more charisma than The Rock, which is honest to f*cking goodness, no hyperbole, like saying Big Cass is a better technician than Zack Sabre, Jr. It's not like The Fast & The Furious 7: 2 Buff 2 Stuff broke any box office records.

Russo even recorded a ditty poking fun at Meltzer: a riff on Elton John's 'Your Song'. It is, by some distance, the worst thing you've ever heard. Searingly cringeworthy, it will make you want to die. It is also evidence of Russo's actual bird brain. To him, because he follows wrestling so closely, Meltzer must have an ass that is "quite wide". In reality...

Who Would Win: Russo. Swerve! SHREDDED MELTZER. As an actual sack of sh*t, it would take some carry-job to get this to ******* standard.
