10 Forgotten AEW Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

2. Infinito

Tony Khan is no stranger to a masked wrestler, but he clearly didn't see enough in Infinito following the flyer's one and only AEW match vs. Ray Jaz on the 30 November 2021 Dark. That's surprising, because Infinito showed a lot of potential and actually looked like someone who had been wrestling for 20+ years.

That's because Bryan Danielson was under the hood.

This must've been something Bryan fancied doing for a giggle. His jump from AEW has been hugely productive for Danielson, who has been having a hoot since joining the company and enjoys the freedom Tony Khan gives him. Becoming Infinito and wrestling on Dark was all Bryan.

Ray Jaz would've been delighted to wrestle Danielson, hokey gimmicked name or not. The kicker is that a ton of fans wouldn't see Bryan as Infinito. Dark was already a hardcore fan only deal, but it started sliding down the pecking order even furhter once Rampage launched.
