10 Forgotten Moments In The Undertaker's WWE Career

5. Mayhem In Manchester

Years before taping episodes of television during annual jaunts to England became the norm, the WWF thought it best to put on sporadic, UK-exclusive pay-per-views and live events that would either air on Sky Box Office or be released via trusty VHS after the fact. Mayhem In Manchester, an event taped on 4 April 1998, fell into the latter camp.

It also featured one super-unique Kane vs. The Undertaker match.

The story goes that 'Taker's bags were either stolen or lost at the airport before the show, and that meant he'd have to work without his trademark black ring gear on the night. Doing his best to cobble together an outfit, he went a good 20 minutes with Kane in the main event.

Poor lighting, camera work and The Undertaker's denim shirt with jeans look didn't make the event very watchable, even at the time (the abridged VHS only showed highlights from the card, not full matches). Still, the thrown-together attire he wore did hint at a new emerging style that'd move away from the dark side.
