10 Forgotten WWE Cameos From Major Stars Before They Were Famous

8. Adam Cole (Hot Date)

Adam Cole officially signed with Ring Of Honor (after some tryout matches) in August 2010. This segment, from the 2 July 2010 SmackDown, happened just before that. It turned out to be Cole's first taste of WWE television, and it was a chance for him to show some personality to the decision-makers.

He was cast as a hot date for then-'Straight Edge Society' member Serena. The segment was a cosy one - Serena and "Charming Guy #1" (presumably Cole's name for the night on the script) flirted in a bar before CM Punk arrived to chew the cult member out for daring to besmirch his 'Straight Edge' teachings.

This skit didn't lead to anything meaningful for Cole. He wouldn't be seen in WWE circles again until turning heads as part of The Undisputed Era's rise on NXT in 2017. The poor guy barely even got a chance to develop his budding relationship with Serena.

Hopefully, she at least called him "Bay Bay".
