10 Forgotten WWE Matches Followed By Something Infamously Terrible

5. Matt Morgan Vs. William Regal (Followed By The Undertaker/Muhammad Hassan Terrorism Angle)

At least nothing daft went on after it.

This was the one minor saving grace of an otherwise-abhorrent moment in WWE history. Horrifically tone-deaf in light of terror attacks that had taken place that day in London (the moment was taped before the 7/7 bombings, but aired after them), the segment in which Muhammad Hassan set some balaclava'd figures on The Undertaker with some piano wire couldn't have been followed by some...traditional pro wrestling storytelling. A long Batista/Christian match followed it. Not like it should have existed to begin with.

Hassan was set to reach his final end at The Great American Bash via 'Deadman' destruction derby, but the angle and match that came before this couldn't have been shunted off the agenda quicker after what followed. William Regal and Matt Morgan went to a no contest when The Mexicools attempted to work around their own xenophobic gimmick by assaulting the giant Morgan before Regal could even get a shot in.
