Although Bo Dallas made his main roster debut in 2014, he's actually been under contract to WWE since 2008. Yes, he spent six years in developmental, and through it all, WWE stuck with him because they believed they had a future star on their hands.

Along with Seth Rollins, he is the only man to hold both the NXT and FCW Heavyweight Championships. Not only that, but he also teamed with his legitimate brother Bray Wyatt (then known as Husky Harris) to win the tag team titles in FCW. They were obviously grooming him for a prominent position on Raw or SmackDown, especially after his lengthy run with the NXT Championship in 2013.

For weeks, vignettes aired hyping the impending arrival of Dallas, and upon his SmackDown debut in May 2014, he embarked on an undefeated streak in singles competition that helped him build a fan following for himself despite being a heel. Regardless, people were reacting to him for a time, but that went to waste when the streak was snapped by R-Truth and he's been relegated to enhancement talent status ever since.

There's still time for Dallas' career to recover, but a significant amount of damage has already been done.
