10 Former Stars Who Would Have Been Perfect For WWE's Women's Revolution

While we are moving in the right direction, a lot of women missed their chance before we got there.

WWE love patting themselves on the back. You only need to look at the way they have marketed the Women's Revolution to see that. The problem is, said patting completely misses out the fact it was their actions that meant there was a need for a revolution in the first place.

As a company, they have treated their women like crap for years. Whether it's Bra and Panties matches or Extreme Exposé, the female wrestlers were there to be looked at, not to put on great matches.

However, that doesn't mean that there weren't good workers during that time. There were plenty of women who came to WWE at the top of their game and even in the three-minute segments that they got, showed they deserved to be there.

These are the women who if they were there now, would be front and centre of the Women's Revolution.

10. Victoria

A two-time WWE’s Women's Champion and a five-time TNA Knockout Champion Victoria was always a wrestler first and a Diva second. It was that which allowed her to take on Lita in the first women's cage match in WWE history.

However, alongside those opportunities, Victoria also had her fair share of degrading experiences. For example, she had the honour of being part of the first ever Bra and Panties Gauntlet match, something that I'm sure rivalled the cage match in her achievements.

Despite being plagued by daft stipulations, Victoria was one of the better wrestlers in a division that still had a few talents. You only have to wonder how great the matches could have been if they hadn’t revolved around taking each other's clothes off.
