10 Former Stars Who Would Have Been Perfect For WWE's Women's Revolution

8. Beth Phoenix

The Glamazon’s time in WWE was a frustrating one. Every time it felt like they were putting their resources behind her they chopped the legs from underneath her. The decision to team her and Natalya up as The Divas of Doom seemed perfect and yet rather than running roughshod over the division, Phoenix’s first title shot saw her being pinned by Kelly Kelly in Phoenix's home city. Hardly the mark of a powerful heel.

Even when she finally got her hands on the title, it felt like WWE were unwilling to give Phoenix the chance to run with it. Her WrestleMania moment saw her teaming with Eve Torres to take on Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos and once again saw her on the end of defeat.

What makes it worse is that if Phoenix had come around just a few years later, she would have been perfectly in place to benefit from the Women’s Revolution. The standard of women wrestlers in WWE has shot through the roof, and Phoenix could have put on great matches with them all.
