10 Former Stars Who Would Have Been Perfect For WWE's Women's Revolution
2. Lita
Lita changed the face of women’s wrestling. Her high-flying style and feud with Trish Stratus stood out from the Bra and Panties matches that were WWE’s stock in trade at the time. In fact, she had a fantastic career and is rightfully considered one of the greatest female competitors of all time.
So how much better would it have been if she’d been working in an environment like the one we have today? Despite their successes, she and Trish still competed in demeaning matches and had to fight tooth and nail to get the breaks that they did. In the modern environment, they might have been allowed to flourish and to feud with more than just each other.
Lita’s WWE career already goes down as legendary. She’s a Hall of Famer for a reason and most of the women at the forefront of the Women’s Revolution point to her as an influence. However, you can’t help but wonder how much better it could have been if she’d been wrestling in a world that didn’t see her have to put everything on the line just to be given a chance.
