10 Former Stars Who Would Have Been Perfect For WWE's Women's Revolution

1. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus set the blueprint for what would become a WWE Diva. She came into the company as a fitness model and learnt how to wrestle rather than being a wrestler who discovered how to sell themselves on TV.

However, unlike many of her contemporaries Trish didn’t just become any old wrestler, she became arguably one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time (at least of those that competed in WWE). At some point, while managing T&A and being humiliated by Vince McMahon, she adapted her skill set and became a person who was capable of headlining Raw alongside her old foe Lita.

So how much more could Trish have done if she had debuted during the Women’s Revolution? If she had been invited into a company where being forced to bark like a dog by the owner while stripped to your underwear would be quite rightly seen as disgusting?

Much like Lita, Trish already had a legendary career in WWE and those two women’s names will always be linked together in laying the seeds for a change that sadly took as long as it did to come to fruition. It’s just a shame that she had to put up with all the crap to make it so.
