10 Former Stars WWE Should Re-Hire
1. Kurt Angle
Following months of speculation that Kurt Angle could be returning to WWE for the first time since 2006, The Wrestling Machine's continued absence is disappointing.
That disappointment is compounded by the fact Angle has been a free agent for over a month now.
The only explanation can be that Angle is sticking to his intentions of taking a break from professional wrestling after 10 years in TNA. Although he had initially announced his plans to retire, Angle is enjoying time away from the business after carrying the flag in the sinking TNA ship.
If WWE hasn't already made an offer to Kurt Angle, the entire talent management team should be fired. WWE is sorely lacking star power and Kurt Angle is as over as any wrestler not yet signed by the company.
Not only that, he is still one of the best technical wrestlers in the world at the age of 47.
You'd think it would take a ridiculous turn of events for Angle to not join WWE at some stage before his retirement. The Olympic Hero has plenty of years left in him - and maybe even a WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign - if managed correctly.
