Former Intercontinental Champion and 'El Matador' Tito Santana has worked five matches in 2018 (his most recent was on 1 June for Rockstar Pro Wrestling in Dayton, Ohio). Incredibly, aged 65, he's still pulling on the trunks and probably still having decent matches, but wrestling isn't Tito's main source of income any more.

Teaching the youth of America and guiding youngsters on the right path is.

Santana began teaching 21 years ago, and he told ESPN during a recent interview that he enjoyed transitioning away from the ring to the classroom. Tito was a gym teacher at first, then started teaching Spanish after finding he was too tired after long days running around with children in gym halls and on playing fields.

According to comments made in an interview with Go Pro Wrestling, the legend has had to turn down WWE's offer to have him teach at the Performance Center. His full-time job takes up the bulk of his working life, and Santana has no desire to get back into a business he claims has changed too much.
