10 Free Agents TNA Should Sign
10. Ariya Daivari
TNA brought in Shawn Daivari for a run in 2009 as Sheik Abdul Bashir, and he was pretty entertaining in the role, just like he was in WWE. But the thing is, Ariya is even better than his bigger brother.
The younger Daivari is an absolute heat magnet on the indy scene, and he’s damn good in the ring too. It's a bit of a wonder that he remains unsigned by any of the big promotions. Personally, I’d like to see him drop the evil Iranian gimmick on the national scene, and try his luck as a babyface (or at least as a heel that doesn’t have to rely on his nationality for heat), but having him on Impact in any form would be great.
We saw Ariya briefly in the Cruiserweight Classic series on WWE, but he was defeated in the first round by the less talented Ho Ho Lun. While his run in the tournament was cut short, hopefully it gave him a bit more exposure, increased his name value and put him on TNA's radar.
