It will likely be impossible to capture a bit of the magic that Ryback had during his run-up to the main event scene in WWE, but perhaps in a new environment he could still be a big player.

Bringing Ryback in would deliver some buzz to TNA, as well as create some intrigue in how he'd adapt in a new environment. He could have a big feud with Lashley right out of the gate, or the company could go the route of having him steamroll through the undercard first. While he'd likely not come cheap, he could potentially bring some more viewers to the show, as well as selling some merchandise, which would make him well worth the investment.

As we've seen, Ryback may not be the best in-ring worker, but he’s far from terrible, and he's not afraid to experiment with adding new moves to his repertoire. If nothing else, he's shown to be very hungry, and is out to prove that he can be a top guy in a wrestling promotion.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
