10 Free Agents TNA Should Sign

4. Marty Scurll

Marty Scurll had a brief fling with TNA when he was part of their British Boot Camp show, as well as receiving a couple try out matches on Impact. But at the time, his gimmick was pretty bland. He’s re-invented himself since then, and has become one of the biggest standouts on the Indy scene (including WCPW!). He would make a solid addition to the TNA roster if he was to return.

Scurll would excel in the company as the top heel in the X-Division. Or perhaps he could be inserted into the role of the leader of Decay. With his great promo work, intriguing character and solid in-ring abilities there’s a lot of places he could fit in on Impact.

However, Billy Corgan and Dixie Carter shouldn't wait long to bring him in, as he's destined to be a star somewhere soon.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
