10 Free Agents TNA Should Sign
3. Stu Bennett

For years, fans wanted WWE to give Wade Barrett another big push. The man excelled in his role as the leader of The Nexus in his rookie year and seemed destined to be a main-eventer for years to come, but was effectively sent down to the mid-card and never given the chance to rise above it.
A push was teased for him again and again, with his Bare Knuckle Brawler schtick, his propensity to deliver bad news and his victory at King of the Ring, but the result was always the same; he would lose. He existed on the roster to beat the lowest people on the totem pole, and then would be fed to the top stars in return.
In TNA, it’s likely that he would excel. Drew Galloway went from a jobber in 3MB to becoming World Champion, and it didn’t feel a bit out of place. You could easily imagine Bennett following that lead and holding the top title in the company as well.
After all the bad news he's received over the past few years, he's long overdue for some good news, meaning a strong push in a new company.
