10 Fresh Feuds The WWE Superstar Shakeup Has Made Possible
1. Shinsuke Nakamura Vs. Kevin Owens
Looking like a wrestling-version of James Corden, the popular Kevin Owens made his debut on SmackDown Live after moving over from Raw this past week. Sporting a flash suit and shaving off his beard made KO look more cuddly than imposing, but he's still a heel in WWE-land.
That visual change does mean that Owens needs to reaffirm his status as one of the promotion's most vicious heels, and he could do that by beating down one of WWE's most beloved new faces on the main roster.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens has a dream match quality to it. There's no way this duo could disappoint inside the ring and there's the added advantage of booking Shinsuke to battle for gold from the outset. Nakamura is currently feuding with Dolph Ziggler, but that rivalry only exists as an introductory one for the Japanese star, so a crack at the WWE United States Champion seems logical afterwards.
Much like Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Bálor, if WWE hand Owens vs. Nakamura some significant time bell-to-bell, they will thrill fans.
