Technically, we've seen these two feud in the past, but it was hardly a feud if it lasted all of two weeks; in fact, consider it a small preview of what be coming down the line. Rusev has been unstoppable since arriving in WWE the night after WrestleMania 30, dismantling every Superstar who has stepped foot in his path of destruction. From Kofi Kingston to Big Show, he has decimated them all, everyone with the exception of Sheamus up until November. After months of trash talking the United States, Rusev finally announced his intentions to take the U.S. Championship from Sheamus on the Halloween edition of SmackDown, and it was only days later on Raw that the two did battle with the belt up for grabs. In a shocking turn of events, Rusev emerged victorious against Sheamus to capture the star-spangled prize. They met in a championship rematch the following week on Raw, but it ended in a count-out win for Rusev following interference from The Authority. The Celtic Warrior was sidelined with an injury shortly thereafter, leaving the rivalry without a decisive conclusion. Rusev is currently tied up with John Cena at WrestleMania 31, but look for Sheamus to return with a vengeance and possibly take his title back in the process.
