Before we headed to Orlando for the big weekend, we decided to stop off in New York for some outlet shopping, a Broadway show and hit up some good Irish pubs. Thankfully, WWE announced that the pre-WrestleMania Press Conference would take place in the Hard Rock Café in the heart of Times Square so we made sure to get there nice and early at 8am to get a good spot for the event kicking off at 10. All the big names were due to be there from Triple H and John Cena to Floyd Mayweather and The Big Show. Midway through standing in line, I got the munchies and decided to go and grab us a Sausage and Egg McMuffin from McDonalds (Breakfast of Champions) As Im approaching Mike to hand him his breakfast, suddenly a large American wrestling fan runs right up to me and screams HEY! You look like the Miz and he made such a big deal out of it that around 50 fans chanted Miz at me as I tried to make the ground swallow me whole. Firstly, this was 2008 Miz, the worst kind of Miz, secondly, I realised that by having short, spikey hair and having a young looking face, I did resemble Mr Mizanin a little bit. I wish my friend had gotten a picture of it, because when 40 wrestling fans are chanting Miz at you, theres no facial expression that can justify how bonkers that is.
