10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 28

10. Bumping Into Daniel Bryan And The Bellas

As great as our hotel was, on the Wednesday of WrestleMania week, I got REALLY ill with food poisoning thanks to some dodgy room service eggs. That night, we'd gotten tickets to go to a Lilian Garcia show where she'd be performing and some wrestlers would be hanging out. I forced myself to take some painkillers and tried to make an effort to go along. After surviving a nauseating thirty minute taxi ride we arrived at the venue and made our way inside. As we mingled and I grabbed a bottle of water in attempt to avoid vomiting, we spotted Ezekiel Jackson, Vickie Guerrero and some other WWE stars in attendance. A few minutes later, I had to tap out and tell my friends I was going back to the hotel to sleep off my bug. Luckily, my friends were great and wanted to come back with me and make sure I was OK. We got outside and tried to flag down a cab, unsuccessfully, for about twenty minutes. Eventually a car pulled over and we made our way over to it, when out stepped World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and The Bella Twins! We were floored to see them but they couldn't have been more friendly. Bryan was the nicest guy and Nikki and Brie gave us hugs and chatted to us for a minute as they agreed to a photo before they headed inside. I might have felt like absolute crap and had to go home, but those three made my night by going out of their way to be so great to us. That's the thing about being in town for WrestleMania: you never know who you'll bump into.
