8. Michael Cole & Josh Matthews Getting Drunk During The Day
One of the biggest media events of WrestleMania week is the press conference, which is usually held in New York's Hard Rock Cafe. In 2012, WWE decided to host the event in Miami at a swanky hotel. Stars like John Cena, CM Punk and others came out to hype up the event but it's what happened afterwards that always sticks in my mind. After the media left, we spotted Michael Cole and Josh Matthews at the hotel bar having a few Vodka cocktails. It was a Wednesday afternoon and Josh and Cole were getting hammered and engaging in banter with the fans around them. Seeing Michael Cole when he isn't being produced via Vince McMahon screaming in his headset is a glorious thing, he's actually a funny chap. As we left the hotel, a huge 4x4 pulls up outside the front entrance and when he pulls his window down, it's The Rock! The Great One wanted to say hello to the fans that were waiting to catch a glimpse of him and he promised that he'd whoop John Cena on the Sunday. It's one thing to see Dwayne Johnson on television, but in person he is absolutely massive (and also just as great a guy as you'd hope he would be).
