The celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame is a place where any famous person willing to fly in for a sham ceremony can be honored, regardless of how tenuous his or her connection to wrestling may be. William "Refrigerator" Perry, Pete Rose, and Drew Carey have all been inducted for the minor cameos they've made on WWE TV, and Hall of Fame crowds were forced to sit and watch silently. Maria Menounos is a lifelong wrestling fan who's been very vocal about her love for the sport. She's appeared on Raw, she inducted personal friend Bob Backlund into the Hall of Fame in 2013, and she even competed at WrestleMania XXVIII -- in short, she's a nice person who likes wrestling. That won't do much to mitigate the fact that the WWE Universe has no desire to see her inducted or watch her acceptance speech. The hardcore fans who were present as she inducted Backlund had no patience for her lauding a legend on a night filled with long speeches -- it's even less likely they'll want to hear her talk about herself. Expect "Randy Savage" chants to go up to 11.
