10. Fleabag (Fleabag) - Liv Morgan

In truth, it is surprising that this gimmick is not already in use in modern-day WWE, especially in NXT UK. Fleabag has been a humongous hit for Phoebe Waller-Bridge, winning a shedload of awards on both sides of the Atlantic and being described as a ‘near-perfect work of art’ by some. Whether you’re into it or not, Fleabag is big news.

Fleabag is the embodiment of 21st-century female neurosis, although there is more to it than that. She is endlessly sarcastic and eternally cynical, an irreverent woman who seems to have an addiction to badly-timed jokes and even worse-timed sexual encounters. She does have a great heart though, and a lot of her misery stems from the death of her best friend.

WWE wouldn’t know how to book a character with the depth of Fleabag, but booking a refreshingly honest and open female character might not be beyond their capabilities. They do have a massive writing staff after all. A gimmick along the lines of Fleabag could work well for a talented performer like Liv Morgan.
