10 Goldberg WWE Matches You Completely Forgot About

10. Vs. Jonathan Coachman - RAW 2004

The final TV match of Goldberg's initial run in WWE saw him go to a no contest finish with the 'Big Red Machine' Kane, one of many battles between the two during Bill's 11 months in the company. His penultimate match on RAW was somewhat less competitive however, and was a great example of everything WWE got wrong with the man the first time round.

The night after the 2004 Royal Rumble Goldberg found himself booked in a No Disqualification match against none other than Jonathan Coachman. That sounds fun, right? Surely Goldberg would destroy Coach in the amount of time it takes to make and eat a sandwich? By the time Goldberg and Coach actually made contact that is exactly what happened, but this was preceded by five unnecessary minutes of Mark Henry dominating Goldberg.

This was pre-Hall of Pain Henry too, meaning the World's Strongest Man had none of the heat and none of the legitimacy he did during his 2011 peak. WCW can be accused of a lot of things, but if this match had taken place in Goldberg's first year in WCW there is no way an enhancement talent would have been given five minutes of offence.

Goldberg picked up the win, but it took far too long to come around.
