10 Grand Moments We Need To See At WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania is just over a week away, and while there's been a lot of debate as to whether the company has really made the most of the opportunity for a supercard, it's hard to deny that there are several bouts that feel important. Goldberg and Brock Lesnar will clash for the Universal Title in a contest that promises to be explosive, while Seth Rollins will finally get his hands on Triple H after what feels like years. Even the bout pitting Roman Reigns against The Undertaker is a first-time-ever affair that will send shockwaves through the company.

More than the matches, though, are the moments - the brief flashes of history in the making that stick out from the five-hour show and end up living forever. There have been so many over the years, from Daniel Bryan's phenomenal WWE Championship win and defeat of Evolution at WrestleMania XXX to Bret Hart weathering an incredible bout with Owen Hart to win the championship at WrestleMania X as his jealous brother looked on. Those moments are what really make WrestleMania so special.

As to whether there will be any of those amazing memories formed at this year's event - well, it's anybody's guess. If WrestleMania 32 was any indicator, fans might be in for a very long evening. Still, there's certainly plenty of opportunity for those grand moments on April 2, and here are 10 that we need to see.

One of the more controversial bouts on the WrestleMania card is the contest pitting former WWE Champion AJ Styles against Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon. Styles has easily been WWE's MVP over the past 12 months, but instead of finding himself in a situation where he can deliver a classic, he'll be taking on a 47-year-old non-wrestler. As for Shane, he may be in great shape, but he's looked particularly incompetent (and even dangerous) in his recent outings

Odds are that typical McMahon pride will keep the bout from being too one-sided - even if Styles wins, McMahon will likely get far more offense than he should and the victory probably won't be clean. However, if Styles were to really annihilate Shane - along the lines of some of his beatdowns of James Ellsworth - it would prove that "The Phenomenal One" is more than the typical cowardly heel who can't back up his tough talk.

A devastating beatdown followed by a stretcher job for Shane wouldn't just be memorable - it would cement Styles as the most dastardly heel in the entire company and clear a path for him to reclaim the WWE Championship.
