At last month's Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss to claim her first championship in WWE. It was a great moment for the longtime star and her fans, but unfortunately, she hurt her knee during her title win. Nine days later on Smackdown, she was forced to vacate the belt, and Bliss was crowned champ again in a subsequent match for the Smackdown Women's Championship.

General manager Daniel Bryan would soon stun Bliss, though, with the news that at WrestleMania, she'd be defending the title against "every available woman" on the Smackdown roster. That curious wording exempted Nikki Bella, who will be competing elsewhere, but Becky Lynch, Mickie James, Natalya, and Carmella have all declared themselves for the bout.

One thing that was clear, though, was that the setup of the match would allow Naomi to compete if she was cleared in time for the show of shows. On Twitter, the star's father confirmed that she would be ready for the WrestleMania bout, so in front of her hometown crowd in Orlando, she deserves to regain the belt she never should have lost.
