Before there was James Ellsworth, there was Barry Horowitz; the ultimate jobber.

Horowitz had gone four years without a televised win in WWE when he beat Boddydonna Skip, who wrestled more famously under real name Chris Candido in NWA, WCW and ECW, with a roll-up while Skip taunted his lowly opponent by performing press-ups in the ring.

Taking place on an episode of The Wrestling Challenge in 1995 ,when kayfabe was gospel, to see the cocky heel defeated by the plucky underdog was a feel-good moment for the crowd, sold by Jim Ross’ famous call on commentary: “Horowitz beat him! Can you believe it?"

Although the subsequent billing of the victory as Horowitz’s first ever was false - he won numerous matches in his first WWE run between 1987 and 1990 - it was a heartwarming moment of spotlight on a career which was otherwise built on putting other talent over.
